Privacy and analytics.
This page explains the information the BlackSheep website uses to operate the store, understand journeys, and measure campaigns.
Essential data
The store uses essential session and security data to keep your bag, protect forms, sign you in, complete checkout, and prevent duplicate orders. Checkout and account details are used to fulfil your request and are not treated as optional analytics.
Analytics
If you allow analytics, we record privacy-filtered events such as pages and products viewed, searches, bag and checkout steps, campaign source, broad device category, website errors, and performance measurements. We do not place checkout names, email addresses, phone numbers, or delivery addresses in analytics events.
BlackSheep keeps a first-party operational copy so the team can find broken or confusing journeys. Analytics events are automatically removed after 395 days. Order records remain separate because they are needed to fulfil purchases and maintain business records.
Google Analytics is an optional additional destination. It is currently configured and loads only after analytics consent.
Marketing measurement
If you allow marketing, the Meta Pixel may measure product interest, bag activity, checkout starts, and purchases to help evaluate campaigns. It does not load when marketing consent is declined. Campaign labels are filtered and contact-like values are discarded before first-party storage.
Your choices
You can accept all optional tools, use essential storage only, or choose analytics and marketing separately. Use the “Cookie settings” control in the footer at any time to change your choice. Declining optional categories does not prevent you from browsing, using the bag, or checking out.
For privacy questions, use the contact page. Include only the information needed for the team to understand your request.
